Refund Policy

We want you to be confident in your subscription. This policy explains when and how refunds are issued.

Short version: Cancel anytime — no contracts. Monthly plans: cancellation stops future billing; access continues to the end of the current period. Annual plans: you get a partial refund based on a discount-clawback formula — we charge you the standard monthly rate for the months you used, and refund whatever's left of your annual prepayment. There is also a 7-day no-questions-asked full refund window at the start of every plan, plus a "no campaign launched yet" full-refund safeguard.

To request a refund:

  1. Email support@collaborativemarketing.ai with your account email and the reason for your request
  2. Our billing team responds within 2-3 business days
  3. If your request meets the eligibility criteria above, refunds are processed within 5-10 business days to the original payment method via Stripe
  4. Bank processing times may add an additional 3-5 business days depending on your institution

5. Marketing Results Are Not Guaranteed

Marketing performance — clicks, leads, conversions, sales, ad return on spend — depends on factors outside our control: your industry, your competition, your ad budget, market conditions, the quality of your existing brand assets, and many others. We commit to building and running campaigns that follow proven AI-driven best practices, but we cannot guarantee specific results. Refund requests based on dissatisfaction with marketing results do not qualify for a refund.

6. Annual Plans — Discount Clawback Refund

Annual plans are sold at a 20% discount from the standard monthly rate. That discount is granted because of your year-long commitment. If you cancel before the year is up, the discount is "clawed back" — you keep the months you used, but at the standard monthly rate, not the discounted annual rate. Whatever is left of your prepayment is refunded.

This protects both sides: you can leave any time without being trapped in a contract, and we are not penalized for offering loyalty pricing to customers who do not stay.

Practically, after roughly 9.5 to 10 months on any annual plan, the service you have already received exceeds what you paid — the clawback formula yields zero and no refund is issued. This is by design: it rewards customers who commit to the full year.

Counting "Months Elapsed"

A month is counted the moment your monthly billing date passes. Partial months are rounded up to the nearest whole month. If you signed up on March 15 and cancel on May 20, you have elapsed two complete months plus a partial third — three months are deducted in the formula. This rule is intentionally favorable to predictable expectations and avoids day-by-day disputes.

How to Cancel an Annual Plan

  1. Open your dashboard → Billing & Subscription.
  2. Click Cancel Subscription. You will see a preview of your refund amount based on the formula above before confirming.
  3. Confirm cancellation. The refund is issued to the original payment method within 5–10 business days.
  4. Your account remains active through the end of the current billing month, then enters a 30-day data-retention window before deletion.

7. Chargebacks

If you file a chargeback with your bank instead of contacting us, your account will be suspended immediately. Chargebacks are costly to both parties and prevent us from resolving billing disputes fairly. We encourage you to reach out to us first — we resolve most billing questions within 24 hours, and contacting us directly is always faster than initiating a chargeback.

8. Plan Changes

Upgrading: When you upgrade your plan mid-cycle, you are charged the prorated difference immediately and the upgrade takes effect right away.

Downgrading: Downgrades take effect at your next billing cycle. No refunds are issued for the difference between your old and new plan during the current cycle.
